The National Biodiversity Strategy aims to raise awareness across society about the importance of biodiversity protection and to implement collective actions at all levels. Establishing a network of protected areas involving the state and civil society is one of the most important actions for protecting natural habitats and species. Incorporating nature into planning and development documents is another way for society to commit to biodiversity.

  • The Need to Act to Preserve Biodiversity
Preserving biodiversity involves protecting wildlife, flora, and their habitats. This can include, for example, national parks and nature reserves.
Measures to reconcile economic activities with biodiversity preservation are developing in France. For example, through urban planning and agriculture that better align with environmental concerns.
