To determine whether Luigi's measurement is accurate requires more detailed analysis beyond using a standard tennis racket as reference.

Forttoate's calculation assumes Luigi is holding a normal-sized tennis racket, but in the Mushroom Kingdom, standard sizes cannot be assumed.

Mario has a canon height of 155 centimeters (just over 5'1"), making him the true ruler by which all Mushroom Kingdom measurements can be calibrated.

Using pixel-precise measurements from Mario Power Tennis and height charts, Luigi is determined to be 12% taller than Mario, putting him at 1.736 meters or 5'8".

Using the updated canon pixel ruler based on Luigi's actual height, the bulge shadow on his shorts measures 10.85 centimeters or 4.3 inches.

Anatomical measurement standards require beginning measurements at the pubic bone, which is protected by the mons pubis layer of skin and adipose tissue.
